Rochester’s Patent Medicine Men
In the late 19th century, Rochester was the third largest producer in the United States of patent medicines, the forerunners of today’s over-the-counter medications.
Our evening’s presenter, Don Hall, will give a fifty-five minute presentation on patent medicine as it relates to Rochester, New York. See the products, learn about where they were made and the people who produced them.
Did the medicines work? Well, they did a great job improving the lives of the men who produced them.
Join us at 7 pm at the Parma Town Hall on 1300 Hilton Parma Corners Road in Hilton. Our monthly meetings are held in the court/board room.
Light refreshments will be provided. Admission is FREE to all.
